Mailing Dates
All letters are mailed through the USPS with tracking included.
Your first letter ships within three business days and typically arrives within 5–8 business days from your order date.
After that, your letters will continue to arrive like clockwork—on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. U.S. deliveries usually arrive within two weeks, while international orders may take up to six weeks depending on location.
And don’t worry—you’ll always begin with Letter One, so you’ll experience the story exactly as it was meant to unfold, no matter when you subscribe.
Current Mailing Schedule
If you order a letter story today, the following will be your schedule for mailing -
Letter #1: Ships in 3 business days via USPS with tracking. Delivery takes 2-5 business days after shipping (5-8 business days total).
Letter #2: Sent via regular mail on the 10 th of following month. Delivery takes within
2 weeks for US orders or 6 weeks for international orders.
Remaining Letters: Mailed on 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. Delivery takes within 2 weeks for US orders or 6 weeks for international orders.

Please allow 1-3 days for an agent to respond. If we are taking a longer time to respond, we are most likely facing an influx of emails but we will help when we reach your ticket. Rest assured that when an agent reaches your ticket, we will do everything within our power to assist.
Sending multiple emails, chat messages, and Facebook posts unfortunately congest our systems and makes response time slower. When another email is sent within the same email thread, your inquiry is sent to the back of the line which further delays our response time due to our email processing systems.
If your email account is through Hotmail, Outlook, or an international organization, your email may be marked as spam. If you haven’t heard from us within the time allotted, please reach out with another email account.

100% Satisfaction 30-Day Guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with the story you can let us know within 30 days and receive a full refund. You are welcome to keep the letters that have been delivered to you. You may also change stories at no additional cost to you if the request is received within 30 days of purchase.
After 30 days, we will refund the cost of the subscription less the value of the letters that have been processed and/or mailed. This will be assessed by dividing the total price paid by 24 to get a per-letter value. This policy is extended to 60 days for international letters.

If you are dissatisfied with your story, please let us know within 30 days to receive a full refund. Refunds are not automatic with cancellations but available upon request. You are welcome to keep the letters that have been delivered to you.
You may also change stories within 60 days for the cost of $5/letter ($7/letter internationally) already sent or processed. We can send one letter at no cost to you. After 60 days, changing stories is not available.
Please note shipping costs are not eligible for refund. Costs and/or charges will be deducted from the approved refund amount.
After 30 days
Monthly Subscriptions
After the full refund guarantee expires (30 days), refunds are not available for monthly payments already collected. We will, however, send you the remaining letters that have been paid for.
Prepaid Subscriptions
After the full refund guarantee expires (30 days), you are entitled to a prorated refund of your subscription for up to 60 days from when your subscription began.
After 60 days, refunds are not available for prepaid subscriptions. The remainder of the subscription will be mailed to the address provided.

Monthly Subscription Cancellation
Click here to cancel your monthly subscription. No password is required. Please have the same email address you used when you made your purchase. We'll send you a four-digit code to access your subscription to your email.
Prepaid Subscription Cancellation
If you'd like to cancel your prepaid subscription, please contact support@whisperingletters.com with the following information and allow 1-3 days for an agent to respond.

Letters The first letter will be shipped via USPS Ground with tracking and will be enclosed in a kraft cardboard envelope. If you ordered a tin + story in the same order, the first letter will be included inside the tin. It will be shipped within 1-3 business days, with an estimated delivery time of 2–5 days after shipment within the US (total transit time: 5–8 days). International orders have an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks after shipment. A tracking number will be provided once the order has been shipped.
Please note that the remaining letters will be sent via regular mail and will not include tracking information. As such, we highly recommend signing up for Informed Delivery with USPS. This is a FREE service in which they'll notify you via email with scanned images of soon-to-be-delivered mail. Click here to sign up.
If you do not receive your products within these time frames, please contact support@whisperingletters.com with the following information and an agent will respond within 1-3 business days.

Please note that if you are planning to move, notifying your post office will NOT automatically forward The Whispering Letters. Additionally, updating your address in your account will NOT update it on our mailing lists. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This may result in delayed letters and, if two or more letters need to be resent without prior notification, a reshipping fee may apply. A three week advance notification of an address change is recommended.

Each story consists of 24 letters sent over a period of twelve months. In addition to the letters, each envelope includes additional items such as postcards, telegrams, posters, newspaper clippings, stickers, and more. All items are carefully designed to provide you with a truly immersive story experience.
You will also have access to our online Extended Learning articles, which give you historical context and additional insights into the era associated with each story. These articles contain no spoilers and are not a continuation or extension of the story and its characters. We hope they inspire you to dig deeper into the history and learn.

Each story is purchased individually and does NOT automatically renew after the twelve-month period. When you're ready to begin your next story adventure, simply visit our website to select your next journey.
You are also welcome to subscribe to multiple stories at once, or take your time and enjoy each story one at a time.

If the notification is made after this period, the first letter would have already been sent to the former address, so we will resend another letter via First-Class Mail.

Yes! The first letter or first letter + tin will be shipped to our international customers within three business days, and have an estimated delivery time of 2-6 weeks after shipment. A tracking number will be provided once the letter has been shipped.
